امام صادق علیه السلام : اگر من زمان او (حضرت مهدی علیه السلام ) را درک کنم ، در تمام زندگی و حیاتم به او خدمت می کنم.
3- Denounce the enemies of the holy household (peace be upon them)

3- Denounce the enemies of the holy household (peace be upon them)

If person has created place of love for those great men in his heart (whom the existence of the entire creatures is as a result of their blessing); it is not possible for him to love their enemies. Therefore it is not pliable to love the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) and at the same time to be friendly with their enemies, because in the apparent feeling of conscious human being, it is possible to love two things that are contrary to each other.

Base on this, in the apparent feeling or psychological feeling it is possible for a person to be friendly with the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) and those that have went astray; but in terms of the heart and the internal feeling it is different. In this respect the commander of the faithful (peace be upon him) said:

Our love never combined together with the love of our enemies in one heart; Allah the Great and Almighty said: {Allah has not put two hearts within any man[1]}[2]

Therefore, to be friendly with the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) and to love their enemies at the same time is like water and fire that doesn’t merged or combined together in one place.

It is like this narration which was transmitted by Abi al-Jarudi from Imam Baqir (peace be upon him).

From the authority of Abi al-Jarudi reporting from Abi Ja’afar (peace be upon him) in the saying of the Most High: {Allah has not put two hearts within any man}, he will love this and hate that, but as for those who love us; their love for us is unadulterated just as fire purify the goal without muddy in it.

Whoever wants to know whether he loves us or not; must examine his heart, if our love is mixed up with the love of our enemies, he is not from us and we are not from him. Verily Almighty Allah, Jibril and Mika’il are the enemy of these types of people, and definitely Almighty Allah is the enemy of the unbelievers.[3]

Base on this, the signs of love is such that is accompanied with following and obedience to the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) and it attract person towards those great men and denouncing their enemies. Through this type of love, person can be attracted and be the enamored of the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) to the extent he will not comprehend anything except his beloved one and what the beloved one like. Meanwhile this type of conditions is as a result of the attraction of the lover towards the beloved one.

Lady Khadijah (peace be upon her) when on journey usually tells the holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny):

The mind of the lover is attracted by the beloved ones;

Whereas his eye is preoccupied in the hands of the sick ones[4]

When there is development in love and increase in friendship with Allah’s family (i.e. the holy household of the Prophet) you will be tremendously attracted by those great men and you will be weary with other than them. In this respect Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: The real love is to denounce other than the beloved one.[5]

As at the time where you distance yourself from other than the beloved one, you will prefer the beloved one more than other than him. Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) also in this respect said: The evidence of love is to prefer the beloved one more than others.[6]

Definitely this type of love shall place you at the peak of spiritual and luminous stance to the extent as a result of that you will be focused with the assistance of the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) and they will make you as a spiritual and divine existence and subsequently your heart will be increased in denouncing the enemies of the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them).
