THE PERIOD OF REAPPEARANCE OF THE HOLY IMAM

IS THE PERIOD OF REASSURANCE AND CALMNESS

The characteristics, the betterments and the advantages of the luminous period of reappearance of the holy Imam are very much compared to the period of occultation of the holy Imam by which we have titled some topic of this very book in that respect.

One of those characteristics which have connection with this very discussion is that that period shall be splendid time of calmness.

It is period of rescue from doubt and disquieting, it is period of rescue from despondence and attrition of mind from filth thought and devastation because during that day after the annihilation of Satan there shall be transformation in soul and perfection in knowledge of humanbeing and there shall be remembrance of God and the holy leader of the time (May our souls be sacrifice for him) in the minds of people which shall be the cause of tranquility in them. 

Verily remembrance of Almighty Allah is the causes of peace and tranquility.

In the holy Qur'an Almighty Allah has said:

 {أَلا بِذِكرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ}. 

"Look! The hearts find rest in Allah's remembrance!"[1]

Remembering Almighty Allah gives and increases certainty in humanbeing and due to its impact tranquility and reposefulness is created and invented in man so that he is tranquil and there will be no place for doubtfulness and indecisiveness in his mind. This is how humanbeing overcomes his soul and will be able to control and halt it so that he is able to free from the danger of satanic temptation. Because the temptation of Satan has effect on humanbeing if it is able to move him from state of tranquility; temptation never leaves any effect in a person except him who has forfeited his calmness and tranquility.

Base on this a person whose mind has attained calmness till this condition remain in him, he shall gain upper hand over his soul and Satan, meanwhile he shall be able to feel the existence and presence of the holy Imam, likewise the presence of the holy Imam is able to create calmness in person and prevent him from committing sin.

Now be attentive to the following narration.

«سُئل الإمام أمير المؤمنين علیه السلام : أيّ الطرق يمكن الإستعانة بها من أجل الغض من الأبصار؟

فأجاب الإمام علیه السلام: «بالخمود تحت السلطان المطّلع على سرّك».

It was inquired from the commander of the faithful (Peace be upon him) that in what way it is possible for a person to benefit from gazing down the eye? The commander of the faithful (Peace be upon him) in answering the question said:

"With calmness under the government of he who is acquainted with your secret"[2]

If humanbeing knows that Almighty Allah and His representatives are acquainted with their secret and their outer issues, that they are at their presence in any moment and throw light into this reality that he is negligence of it, his unconscious views will be concealed towards what the mind and sight inclines towards.

In this respect some of the good friends of God observe the state of the presence of the holy Imam and they see themselves to be in the presence of the holy leader of the time (May our souls be sacrifice for him) in order to take their mind from aliens and to attain ways to spiritual rank.

The more a person feel and sees himself to be in the presence of Almighty Allah and the holy Imam it is easier and better for him to desist from anything that displeased them, rather the state of the presence of the holy Imam gradually create valuable condition without imposition, intolerance and self awareness because feeling the state of presence of the holy Imam is a factor that is more effective and more powerful in multivating humanbeing towards good and good works.
