THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE HOLY HOUSEHOLD

OF THE HOLY PROPHET (Peace be upon them)

Base on the foundation of the belief of the household of the holy Prophet (Peace be upon them), knowledge and science of the Prophets of Allah is above other people of their time to the extent none of the scholars or scientists of their time is able to oppose them and that is why the Prophets defeated them in any discussions and debates with them. 

The knowledge of the pure Imams (Peace be upon them) are also better than the scientists of their time to the extent none of the scientists has been compared with them in terms of knowledge.

The superiority of their knowledge (Peace be upon them) and the entire Prophets of God upon others in this respect is that their knowledge is not acquired and they did not attain it through learning but their knowledge was given to them by Almighty Allah.

Base on this, those great men enjoy their knowledge from the treasure of knowledge and from hidden information and that is why their awareness is superior to others.

Even though there are differences in the narrations which talk about the knowledge of the pure Imams (Peace be upon them) but discussing and making research concerning them will be very lengthy. We can say the cause of difference in narration in this respect is due to the difference in addressee of the followers of the holy Imams in terms of their preparedness in accepting them.

Then the knowledge of the remainder of Allah's proof (May our souls be sacrifice for him) is superior to the knowledge of the entire people of the world and that great man has possessed the entire science and knowledge.

We read in the (Ziyarah) visitation of that great Imam:

«إنّك حائز كلّ علم».

"Verily you possessed the entire knowledge"[1]

ونقرأ أيضاً في زيارة الندبة : «قد آتاكم الله يا آل ياسين خلافته، وعلم مجاري أمره فيما قضاه ودبّره ورتّبه وأراده في ملكوته...».

And we also read in the (Ziyarah) visitation of al-Nudbah: "O' the family of al-Yasin, verily Allah has given His representative to you and the knowledge of His affairs for what He has decreed, monitored, arranged and what He wanted in His kingdom….."[2]

With this explanation which came through his honourable approval, it is very clear that the knowledge of the holy household of the holy Prophet (Peace be upon them) not only in the world of the angel rather it also surrounded the world of the kingdom. Base on the deduction from some of the narrations that was narrated concerning the wonderfulls of the time of reappearance of the holy Imam, the honourable remainder of Allah's proof (May our souls be sacrifice for him) shall perfect the kingdom of the world.

In this respect the rise of that great man is not only having the aspect of kingship rather apart from the outward world he shall also perfect the inward and the unseen world, and the entire existence in the unseen world shall also be under the government of that great man. 

Concerning the knowledge of the holy Imam (Peace be upon him) it is an attractive issue in knowing the household of the holy Prophet (Peace be upon them) and concerning how and the limit of their knowledge is an issue that has been on table but making research on that didn't rhyme with the topics of this book.

Base on this, the Imam of any period and time are more knowledgeable than the entire inhabitant of that time and the entire scientists from any field must solve and resolve their problems through the Imam of their time because the corollary of the rank of Imamate of the Imams is to be superior to everyone in science and knowledge; this is one of the virtues of the Imam as its opposite is preferring none-erudite upon the erudite.

With this explanation, it is very cleared that no matter the development and civilization in science till the reappearance of the holy Imam, his science (Peace be upon him) is above all. Meanwhile the following narration is very obvious in this respect.

Imam Rida (Peace be upon him) said:

  «إنّ الأنبياء والأئمة علیهم السلام يوفّقهم الله ويؤتيهم من مخزون علمه وحكمته ما لايؤتيه غيرهم، فيكون علمهم فوق علم أهل زمانهم، في قوله تعالى: {أَفَمَنْ يَهْدِي إلى الْحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَنْ يُتَّبَعَ أَمَّنْ لا يَهِدِّي إِلَّا أَنْ يُهْدَى فَمَا لَكمْ كيْفَ تَحْكمُونَ}. 

"Verily the Prophets and the Imams (peace be upon them) were successful through Allah and Allah gave them from the treasure of His knowledge and wisdom that was not given to other than them, so their knowledge is above the knowledge of the people of their time, this is in the saying of Almighty Allah: {Is He then who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed, or he who himself does not go aright unless he is guided? What then is the matter with you; how do you judge?}[3]/[4]

لذلك فإنه مهما تطورت العلوم وازدهرت في جميع جوانبها، يظل علم الإمام علیه السلام يسعها ويكبرها، ويبقى مثله مثل البحر الواسع حيث كلما تساقطت عليه قطرات المطر تضيع في جنبه، بالإضافة إلى أن قطرة المطر هي منه».

Base on this, the knowledge of the holy Imam (Peace be upon him) is so vast and wide that it is above all science from all sections no matter the development, as it is like an ocean that give place to the drops of rain, and apart from that the drops from the rain is obtained through the ocean. So the entire and real science and craft is not seen when compared to their science and knowledge.

As it was narrated from the narrations that during the luminous period of the reappearance of the holy Imam, reasoning and rationalization shall take place in the world and the entire people of the world shall enjoy authentic science and knowledge through logic and rationalization. The companion of the great proof of Allah (May our souls be sacrifice for him) with explanation and speeches, their opposition shall be submissive to them and they shall be guided towards reality.

According to the statement of the great man, the entire people shall be guided towards the school of thought of the holy household of the holy Prophet (Peace be upon them) and the world shall be enormous of knowledge and new vision, meanwhile through this means the truth shall be manifested while fictions shall be annihilated and any sorts of doubtfulness shall be rinse from people's mind.

This is reality that has been stated by the great man and has been explained through his approved letters.

The great Allah's proof (May our souls be sacrifice for him) in the early hour of his birth said:

«زعمت الظّلمة أنّ حجّة الله داحضة، ولو أُذن لنا في الكلام لزال الشك».

"The oppressors thought Allah's proof is fictional, if we were permitted to talk, the doubtfulness could have been obliterated"[5]

It is obvious that putting an end to doubtfulness, the mind shall be enormous of faith and certainty, and by filling up the mind with certainty a lot of important and vital elixir that cause changes and perfection in human's personality shall be at the possession of every one.
