THE IMPACT OF THE PRESENCE OF THE HOLY IMAM
(Peace be upon him)
IN OBTAINING SCIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

During the period of reappearance of the holy Imam, people doesn't need lengthy time and unfruitful research because according to the statement of Imam al-Mujtaba (Peace be upon him) the world that day shall be enormous of science and knowledge together with evidence and reasoning.

Yes, if the people enjoyed from the favour of the presence and reappearance of the holy Imam (Peace be upon him) within the society, they will rapidly be able to achieve great and tremendous sources of knowledge and logical science likewise bestowed knowledge shall be attained from the fountain of revelation, likewise they shall reach an absolute result.

Presently in order to make the issue very clear we will talk about the excess of different kinds of animals and make a resolution after quoting an interesting narration: 

As we've already said there are a lot of wonderful creatures that exist on the elevated mountains, inside desert and inside deep seas, though knowing and taking the account of their ways of living, their characteristics, how they increase is not possible for us due to the numerousness of their kinds.

Presently in our world there are only eighty six thousand (86,000) types of bird that are living,[1] and among the insects there are only about four hundred thousand (400,000) types that was recognized of which about one hundred and fifty thousand (150,000) of them exist in Iran.[2]

By looking into the numerousness and different kinds of animals, if a person for instance in animal science wanted to know the numbers and million generations of different kinds of animal living in the world, which of them lays egg and which of them gives birth? How many millions of years does it need to make this research?

      Apart from this, how can we know the condition of millions of animals that lives inside the seas and those living in the desert and those living on top of elevated mountains?!

But this very person if he did not learn this issue through research and investigation but he learn it through someone who is having awareness of the secret in creation and a witness upon the creation of the creatures, by giving him one general law, the path which is not possible to traverse for millions of years, will be cover in one or two minutes.

Presently in order to make this reality very clear we shall quote the following narration from the collections of late Hajj Mu'tamad al-Daulah Farhad Mirza quoting from the sittings of Ameer Kamal al-Deen Husayn Fana'i that:

«سأل الإمام الصادق علیه السلام أمّ جابر: ما هو عملك؟

فقالت: أريد أن أعمل على الحيوانات والطيور، وارى أي منها يبيض وأي منها يلد؟

فقال الإمام علیه السلام: هذا الأمر لا يحتاج إلى عمل وجهد، أكتبي: أنّ كلّ حيوان لـه آذان طويلة فهو ولود، والذي لـه آذان لاصقه فهو بيوض، ذلك تقدير العزيز العليم».

Imam al-Sadiq (Peace be upon him) inquired from the mother of Jabir About her work, She said: I wanted to make research about grazers and birds concerning which of them lays egg and which of them gave birth?!

Imam (peace be upon him) said: you don't need this amount of thinking, then take note: any animal whose ear is high and raise gives birth and any animal whose ear is cleave to its head lays egg, that is Allah's measure, the Mighty the all Knowing.

And the grazers whose ear are low and cleave to it head lays egg, but the tortoise that is among the grazers because it is not like that it lays egg and ear of the bat because it raise and it didn't cleave with the head it gives birth.[3]

Base on this general laws, for an animal to be bird is not a proof for it to lay egg likewise an animal being a grazer is not a proof for it to give birth because it is possible in a situation where it is a mammal the way of multiplying its generation is through laying egg and not through given birth.

There is a type of animals that is very wonderful, it is an animal that look like duck having teat, and it is known with the teat of duck; nevertheless this animal is a mammal but it lays egg like the birds.

Then be attentive to this report:

Possibly the teat of duck is not the most wonderful animals but according to research and investigation it is one of the wonderful animals. This animal is one of the mammals and it resembles the entire mammals, it has back and breastfeed all its children but it has bill (pecker) like the duck and it also have claws, though what is more wonderful is that it lays egg like bird.

The bill of the duck is about 50 centimetres long and it lives in Australia while the bill of a swimming duck is so very fast. This animal by the time of its swimming puts the end of its bill (pecker) outside the water and it breath in and out at that very time. The pecker of a duck leaves at the side of river and its femine gender kept their eggs there and breastfeed their kids there.[4]

From the previous discussion we've expounded one of the important and vital characteristics of the period of reappearance of the holy Imam which is spread of science and knowledge within the entire people of the society.

Another issue we've discussed here served as an explanation to it. There are another two important and vital characteristics during the luminous period of reappearance of the holy Imam that we've made cleared:

1- The rapidity in acquiring science and knowledge without the need for research and time taking investigation.

2- Attaining absolute result from learning without any affliction in an unfruitful and barren result.

It is obvious that during the period of reappearance of the holy Imam, there shall be an important impact which shall occured in development of science, civilization and a lot of achievement for the human society.[5]
