Acquaintance with the book “Sahifah Mahdiyyah

The book “Sahifah Mahdiyyah” is an important collection of prayers, supplications and visitations that was reported from the leader of the time (May our soul be sacrifice for him) or it was transmitted concerning him.
Reading this book has immaterial and spiritual impact on an individual and as a result of that there will be important transformation in them.
There are a lot of important issues in the introduction of this book which assist its reader in the field of cognizance and acquaintance with the leader of the time (may Almighty Allah hasten his relief). Those who had carefully read this introduction have attained vital reformation in terms of their method of thinking concerning the person of the leader of the time (May our soul be sacrifice for him) and likewise his reappearance.
This book after its introduction consists twelve chapters and a conclusion, meanwhile each an every chapter of the book is a clear way of concentration towards the leader of the time (may Almighty Allah hasten his relief).
The first chapter: the prayers.
 Chapter two: supplications of Qunut.
Chapter three: supplications after the prayers.
Chapter four: supplications for the days of the week.
Chapter five: supplications every month.
Chapter six: special supplications in specific days apart from the days of the week.
Chapter seven: recourse through the Imam of the time (May our soul be sacrifice for him).
Chapter eight: solicitations and requests.
Chapter nine: sorts and divination.
Chapter ten: the supplications which the holy Imam (May our soul be sacrifice for him) has narrated from his great forefathers (peace be upon them).
Chapter eleven: visitations.
Chapter twelve: visitation of the assistants of the leader of the time (may Almighty Allah hasten his relief) and some supplications that has been transmitted by his companions.
In conclusion of the book some act of worship which the Imam (May our soul be sacrifice for him) concentrate on was transmitted.
There are more than (170) one hundred and seventy prayers, supplications, visitations…… in this book which is enough for one to benefit from it.
For the book “Sahifah Mahdiyyah” to have extracted supplications and visitations of the leader of the time (May our soul be sacrifice for him) it has putting an aureole before you and has created its complete impact on you.
In the supplications and visitations which has been narrated from the pure Imams (peace be upon them) concerning the leader of the time (May our soul be sacrifice for him) there is an important point in it, which is expounding this reality that those entire great men called upon people to the universal Just government of the leader of the time (peace be upon him) and they wanted us through prayers and supplications to seek for his reappearance from Almighty Allah. In this respect they have commanded their followers to pray for the quick reappearance of the leader of the time (May our soul be sacrifice for him).
For example Hadrat Imam Rida (peace be upon him) has ordered the shi’a to read the supplication of occultation1.
Very unfortunate that the Shi’as’ are negligence of this vital commandment and they have caused the occultation period of the leader of the time (may Almighty Allah hasten his relief) to prolong.
Is this not enough as an evidence for the statement of the leader of the time (May our soul be sacrifice for him) which said: I am the most oppressed individual of the world2?
How is it possible for someone who believe in absolute guardianship of the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) and also believe this time that the remaining of Allah’s proof (May our soul be sacrifice for him) is the successor and representative of Almighty Allah on the entire world but he is negligence and not concentrated to the leader of the time (May our soul be sacrifice for him)?
How is possible for us to believe in the Imamate of the leader of the time (May Almighty Allah hasten his relief)  and believe the great man to be the leader and master of the entire nation likewise we called ourselves Shi’a and his follower but we are not sorrowful for his occultation and his distance from us? Did sorrow migration and long occultation of the leader of the time doesn’t upset our mind?
Does the remembrance of the auspicious day of reappearance of Hadrat (May our soul be sacrifice for him) not enough to attract our thought?
Base on the belief we possessed concerning the reappearance of the leader of the time (May our soul be sacrifice for him), we should not move a step forward base on our capability even though it is little in order to enlighten our friends and well wishers of the coming of the luminous day of reappearance of the Imam, which base on divine government of Imam he shall fill the earth with Justice and equity?
Why are we heedless of one important fundamental of religion and we did not concentrate on the existence of the holy Imam Mahdi (May Almighty Allah hasten his relief)? Or if we are concentrated on the greatness of the Hadrat, why don’t we move forward in the way of coming of the divine government of the honorable Hadrat? Does the narration of the holy household (peace be upon them) never mention supplication, preparation, anticipation and preparation of ground for the reappearance of Hadrat Mahdi (May our soul be sacrifice for him)?
Then why are we negligence and not concentrated to Imam and we did not offer supplication for his quick reappearance? Is it not better after our prayers, lamentations to supplicate for the quick relief of the leader of the time (May Almighty Allah hasten his relief)?
Does I and you not having responsibility on this negligence, how do we put an end to it in order to concentrate our mind towards the guide of the time (May Almighty Allah hasten his relief) and to seek for his reappearance from Almighty Allah with our entire existence?
Is it not necessary for us to be acquainted with the supplications transmitted from the Imam in this respect or those that has been issued by the other Imams concerning this great man?
By observing the prayers, supplications and the visitations that appeared in this book which is reported from the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) you can fly with your spirit and it can open the means of familiarity and spiritual relation to the holy threshold of Imam Mahdi before you.
Sahifah Mahdiyyah is a great supplication book that is presenting valuable treasure out of the mystery and sciences of the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) before you.
You should benefit from this spiritual treasure and to present it to your friends, relatives and to set it aside in the holy places like shrines, Mosques, Husainiyyah and other religious places and by so doing you have move a step towards acquainting people with the culture of anticipation and Mahdism.
Likewise introducing this book to other people will enable them to concentrate on reappearance of the holy Imam (May Almighty Allah hasten his relief) and the coming of the Just divine government of this great man. You also can make people familiar with this book and through that means he can kindle the light of keenness of Imam Mahdi (May Almighty Allah hasten his relief).
Undoubtedly that the guidelines of the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) that is brought in this book is enough to open way of knowing and familiar to the leader of the time (May our soul be sacrifice for him).
Consequently negligence and not concentrating to Hadrat Mahdi (peace be upon him) the master of this existing is having a lot of inauspiciousness in individual’s world and the hereafter, because familiarity with this book can wipe away negligence from yourself and by benefiting from this book in daily bases with your beloved father you will be familiar with the holy Imam.
I therefore advice all the enamored of the leader of the time (May our soul be sacrifice for him) to put this book into use.

Sahifah Mahdiyyah in various prints and in different languages:
Hundreds of thousand of copies of this book in different sizes and in different languages like Arabic, Persian, Urdu and other languages has been published and it was warmly received by difference classes of people likewise the content of the book is also accepted by them.
Arabic Language:
1- “Al-Sahifah al-Mubarrakah al-Mahdiyyah”: this book for the first time was published in the year 1377 (Iranian calendar) in (760) seven hundred and sixty pages and the copies were exhausted within few time, later (400) four hundred pages was added to the content and it is ready for printing.
2- “Al-Sahifah al-Mahdiyyah or al-Mukhtar min Sahifah al-Mubarrakah al-Mahdiyyah”: this book is a selection from the above book, it was printed and distributed in (480) four hundred and eighty pages in the year 1379 (Iranian calendar).
3- “Al-Sahifah al-Mahdiyyah al-Muntakhabah”: this book is another selection of the above book in (328) three hundred and twenty eight pages of pocket size and it was published in tens of thousand.
4- “Al-Sahifah al-Mahdiyyah al-Muntakhabah”: it is the previous book that was published in (400) four hundred pages, it is half pocket size and it was reprinted several times.
Persian language:
1- “Sahifah Mahdiyyah”: this book is the translation of “al-Sahifah al-Mahdiyyah” that was printed in (560) five hundred and sixty pages. (the seventh edition).
2- “Muntakhab Sahifah Mahdiyyah”: this book is a selection of “Sahifah Mahdiyyah” that was published in (352) three hundred and fifty two pages of pocket size. “the eleventh edition”.
3- “Muntakhab Sahifah Mahdiyyah”: it is the very previous book but it was published in half pocket size of (416) four hundred and sixteen pages. (the tenth edition).
4- “Sahifah Mahdiyyah”: with the translation of the entire supplications and visitations that was printed and published in (752) seven hundred and fifty two pages and in tens of thousand copies. (the thirteenth edition).
5- “Sahifah Mahdiyyah”: with the translation of the entire supplications and visitations (face to face translation) that is printed and published in (1048) one thousand and forty eight pages. (the first edition).
6- “Sahifah Mahdiyyah”: with the translation of the entire supplications and visitations that was printed and published in pocket size of (1168) one thousand one hundred and sixty eight pages. (the first edition).
7- “Muntakhab Sahifah Mahdiyyah”: this book is the selection of the previous book and it was printed and published in (552) five hundred and fifty two pages. (the twelfth edition).
8- “Muntakhab Sahifah Mahdiyyah”: it is the very previous book that was printed and published in (600) six hundred pages of half pocket size. (the third edition).

Urdu Language:
1- “Sahifah Mahdiyyah”: this was the translation of “Sahifah Mahdiyyah” that was translated into Urdu language. It was printed and published by Abbas Bik injisi Laknahu printing center in India.
2- “Sahifah Mahdiyyah Muntakhaba”: this book was the translation of “Sahifah Mahdiyyah Muntakhab” in Urdu language; it was published in pocket size of (352) three hundred and fifty two pages. (the third edition).
3- “Sahifah Mahdiyyah”: this book is another translation of “Sahifah Mahdiyyah” that was translated into Urdu language by a Pakistani scholar.
Thai Language:
Some portion from the introduction of “Sahifah Mahdiyyah” was translated into Thai language (Thailand official language) and it was published there.
Balati Language:
“Sahifah Mahdiyyah”: this book was translated and published into Bilati language in (560) five hundred and sixty pages.


English language:
1- “Muntakhab Sahifah Mahdiyyah”: was translated into English language and it was published in (576) five hundred and seventy six pages. (the first edition).
2- “Muntakhab Sahifah Mahdiyyah”: was translated into English language and it was published in (576) five hundred and seventy six pages. (the second edition).

Azerbaijan Language:
“Muntakhab Sahifah Mahdiyyah”: it was translated and printed into Azerbaijani language in (320) three hundred and twenty pages; it was published by Fajr Qur’an printing center.
Sandi Language:
“Muntakhab Sahifah Mahdiyyah”: it was also translated and published into Sandi language in (352) three hundred and fifty two pages and it was in (3000) three thousand and (4000) four thousand copies.
