KNOWING THE INHABITANT OF GNOSTIC

A person is regarded to be Gnostic and to have benefitted from divine sciences after perceiving the Gnostic issues, and there must be splendid and cheerful transformation in him, if not he is not what Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) has said:

If light of science has manifested inside the heart, the wind of love will spring out; when the wind of love springs out, he will become friendly with the shadow of the beloved one, and then he will prefer the beloved one more than other than him.[1]

Therefore, it is not facilitating to be sufficed with thinking and thought of Gnostic and to engage your brain with spiritual issues; because according to the school of thought of the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) the person who has benefitted from sciences and Gnostic issues is he who has place science in his heart according the principles of the holy Qur’an and the tradition of the Prophet and his holy household (peace be upon them) and not in his brain and thought. It is obvious that in a situation whereby sciences has taken place in ones heart and not in his brain and tongue there will be creation of important transformation in his soul, behavior and sayings.

Among the sign of authentic sciences is self training and leaving selfish and bad desire. Person who has understood the authentic sciences and has found the wisdom and sciences of the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) will distance himself from this elapsing world and self inclination and all his determination will be drag towards spiritual world.

The commander of the faithful (peace be upon him) in this respect has said:

Person whom his knowledge and science is sound and authentic; his soul and determination will turn away from this elapsing world.[2]     

Therefore, those people whose fate and ambition is collection of wealth and saving money, how is it possible for them to enjoy authentic knowledge and science?! If not the issue of science is a mater of heart and not brain?! In this situation if the light of science has overtaken ones heart, how can he be drawn into worldly aspiration and his ambition including his determination to be at the services of his selfish desire?!

Is that not the statement of Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) which he says:

…. Verily the inhabitants of this world are very dear to money and properties.[3]

How is it possible for person whose heart has been overtaken by love for money, property and other material interests like famousness and worldly leadership would be able to disseminate the lights of knowledge and the luminous science of the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them)?
