امام صادق علیه السلام : اگر من زمان او (حضرت مهدی علیه السلام ) را درک کنم ، در تمام زندگی و حیاتم به او خدمت می کنم.
Sincere love

Sincere love

Love and friendship are the signs of detecting and knowing friends likewise it will enable you to differentiate those whose love is sincere from others whose love is not sincere. Now that love is like elixir, the impact it will create for the lover is the sign of showing the value of the beloved one. Those that enjoy the power of perception knew whom to give friendship and the love in his mind. Therefore, he knew his beloved one through their speech, behavior, action and movement.

The more love and friendship become intensive the more the sign of the beloved one become intensive before the lover. Sometimes love is so intensive that the lover will prefer his beloved one more that any other existence; and this type of love is the sign of doctrine and faith of the lover towards the beloved one.

Definitely if your love for the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) is up to this limit, it is a sign of perfection of faith to Almighty Allah. Here is the statement of the holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) in this respect:

No servant shall be a believer until he loves me more than himself and love my progeny more than his progeny and love my family more than his family and to love my essence more than his essence.[1]

Certainly the person whose love is up to this limit is having sincere love. There is an attractive incidence of a Kufan which I will bring henceforth as he sincerely love and prefer the holy Prophet, the commander of the faithful (peace be upon them) and his holy offspring more than himself and his family.

There is a very rich man that was living in Kufa that normally assist the offspring of the Prophet. He is having a notebook in his shop which he named after the commander of the faithful (peace be upon him); at anytime a descendant of the Prophet buy an item and pay he collect but if it is on credit, he will ordered his name to be written in the notebook under the account of the commander of the faithful (peace be upon him).

After long period of time this rich man became poor and stays at home. One day he was going through the debtor note book one after the other, if the debtor is alive he will sent for his money but if the debtor is dead and did not left anything behind he will clean his name from the notebook .

One day this man was sitting in front of his house while going through his debtors’ notebook; unexpectedly one of the enemies of Imam Ali passed by him; he mocked and accused him by saying: what Ali bn Abi Talib (your major debtor) has done to you?

This statement annoys him and he went inside the house with that annoyance. The man saw the holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) in his dream that very night while his two grand son Hassan and Husain (peace be upon them) are by his side at the very place he was sitting while he was mocked. The holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) inquired of their father from both of them (from Imam Hassan and Husain)!

The commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) was behind the holy Prophet and he answered: I am here O’ the Messenger of Allah. The holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) said: why you did not give the request of that man to him? The commander of the faithful answered: O’ the Messenger of Allah it is his worldly right with me. Give it to him, said the Messenger of Allah. At that time the commander of the faithful (peace be upon him) was with a bag made up of white wool and gave it to this man as his right. Meanwhile the entire incidence takes place during the dream.

The holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) said to the man: take this and give my descendants that may demand any of the items you are having so that you will never become poor.

The man said: I woke from sleep and the bag full of money is in my hand; I woke up my wife and ordered her to put on the light. She put on the light and I opened the bag and found one thousand Ashrafi in it.

My wife said: be fearful of God, lest you have deceived people with your poverty in other to take money from businessmen? The man said: To God it is not possible, and he explained the incidence to her. Then I opened the credit notebook and saw that I have written exactly one thousand Ashrafi against the account of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). [2]

An attractive narration in this connection was also reported from Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) hence he says: Whoever assists the poor ones among us, his remuneration is upon our grand father Muhammad (peace be upon him and his progeny)”[3]

The Kufan that is having sincere love for the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) has received his remuneration with the commandment from that great man.
