THE POWER OF CONTROL

It is worth to pay attention to what we have said so far. (i.e. the expansion and abundance of wealth for everyone during the unknown period of reappearance of Imam and one becoming prosperous and absent of insurgence and aggression upon people of that time) as it has been stressed in the saying of the holy household of the holy Prophet (Peace be upon them).

The narration we shall quote henceforth is a witness to what we've said so far. 

يقول الإمام الباقر علیه السلام: «يقاتلون والله حتى يوحّد الله ولا يشرك به شيء وحتّى تخرج العجوز الضعيفة من المشرق تريد المغرب ولا ينهاها أحد، ويخرج الله من الأرض بذرها، وينزل من السماء قطرها، ويخرج الناس خراجهم على رقابهم إلى المهدي، ويوسع الله على شيعتنا ولولا ما يدركهم من السعادة لبغوا». 

 

Imam al-Baqir (Peace be upon him) said: "By God, they will fight until they believe in oneness of God and associate nothing with Him, until the weak and the old ones comes out from the east looking for the west and no one will prevent them, Allah will bring out seeds from the earth and the heaven will rains its drop, people will pay the due taxes upon them to Imam al-Mahdi and there will be expansion of wealth to our followers, if there is no any prosperous man that will perceive them, surely they could have cause insurgency"[1] 

It is possible for wealthiness and poverty to be origin of human being's prosperity likewise its possibility to be factor and causes of crime and disloyalty, i.e. poverty and possessions pay fundamental role for the increase of crimes as it is also possible to be a means that cause prosperousness. Meanwhile greediness and veracity in possessing and increase in wealth bring such demeanor and the root of this incident is due to annihilation of power of control during the gloomy period of occultation.

Not knowing the position of guardianship and not paying attention to the tremendous status of the holy household of the holy Prophet (Peace be upon them) by the society, has caused them to forfeite prosperousness and have also distant them from the rank of guardianship which guaranteed the power of control. But during the unknown day of reappearance of Imam which human society will take refuge in the strong castle of guardianship, cloud of divine blessing will shadowed the entire people of the world, they will be guided, secured, and controlled with the power and divine guardianship of Imam al-Mahdi (May our souls be sacrifice for him).

Due to this tremendous prosperity (whose flavour has not been perceived) until during the luminous and auspicious period of reappearance of Imam, any amount of wealth and property that is possessed by men no matter its abundance will not cause their insurgency and aggression.

Verily due to trace of shadow and power of guardianship of the honourable Imam upon the entire people of the world, the whole power and possessions will be under his veil and guide, thus he will control and curb extravagance likewise insurgency will be hindered.

This is the very prosperity and felicity which Imam al-Baqir (Peace be upon him) has made clear at the end of the narration when he said: "If there is no any prosperous that will perceive them, surely they could have cause insurgency".

Verily power of control and curbing insurgence are part of the specialties of the period of reappearance of Imam upon everyone and how much property, power, ability, cheerfulness, fairness …… are in abundant the light of prosperity and felicity during that luminous time which due to the traces of reappearance of Imam and shining guardianship that was discovered will curb everyone to the extent everyone shall possess scale of wisdom and enormous living from the blessing of that day till the continuation of the time which has not and will never be seen.

فقد قال علیه السلام: «تواصلوا وتبارّوا وتراحموا، فو الذي فلق الحبّة وبرأ النسمة، ليأتينّ عليكم وقت لا يجد أحدكم لديناره ودرهمه موضعاً، يعني  لايجد عند ظهور القائم علیه السلام موضعاً يصرفه فيه لاستغناء الناس جميعاً بفضل الله وفضل وليه.

فقلت: وأ‍نّى يكون ذلك؟

فقال: عند فقدكم إمامكم، فلا تزالون كذلك حتى يطلع عليكم كما تطلع الشمس، آيس ما تكونون، فإياكم والشك والارتياب، وانفوا عن أنفسكم الشكوك وقد حذرتكم فاحذروا، أسأل الله توفيقكم وإرشادكم».

Be attentive to this attractive narration from Imam al-Sadiq (Peace be upon him): "Be connective between yourselves, do good and have mercy on each other, by He who has ripped the seeds and created life, time shall come none of you will see place to put his dinar and dirham (money) i.e. there will be no place for you to spend it when (al-Qa'im) the riser reappear (Peace be upon him), due to sufficiency of everyone from Allah's favour and the favour of Imam.

I said will there be a time like that? He said: it will not be so when you have lose your leader (Imam) until he rise upon you as the sun rises, at the time when there will be no hope for rescue, so be aware of doubt and suspicion and distant yourself from doubt; I have warned you; so be warned, I seek from Allah to grant you success and guidance."[2]

In this narration there is an attractive point concerning cleanness of mind from despair and doubt which its explanation needs an extensive discussion.

The portion of the narration which is the subject of our argument is the saying of Imam Sadiq (Peace be upon him) about the luminous time of reappearance of Imam of the time which Imam Sadiq concerning that auspicious day has said that during that time due to sufficiency of everybody a single needy shall not be found that will necessitate the assistance of the wealthy ones.
