SHALL PEOPLE OF THE WORLD ATTAIN PERFECTION

BEFORE THE REAPPEARANCE OF THE HOLY IMAM?

Some people are of the belief that the inhabitant of the world must develop in wisdom and be perfected in thought before the reappearance of the honourable remainder of Allah's proof (May our souls be sacrifice for him) and if this perfection is not attained the reappearance of the holy Imam will not be materialized!

Is There any Soundness in This Doctrine?

Answer: Even though the development and perfection in the wisdom of the inhabitant of the world prepare the ground for the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi (May our souls be sacrifice for him) but we must be attentive that the appearance of that great man has no any connection with the development and perfection of the entire people of the world, thus going through the numerous narrations that was transmitted in this respect i.e. the reappearance of Imam (May our souls be sacrifice for him), has annulled the aforementioned doctrine.

If the reappearance of Imam will take place after the perfection of wisdom of the inhabitant of the world, then we must set aside the numerous narrations that concerns the holy wars of Imam of the time (May our souls be sacrifice for him) including his companion!

Existence of some individuals that has difference with Imam and their contentional war with Imam (May our souls be sacrifice for him) is a proof that shows their thought is not developed likewise the imperfection of their wisdom. Then how can it be claimed that before the reappearance of Imam the perfection of wisdom must be achieved before the commencement of the government of the holy Imam of the time (May our souls be sacrifice for him)?

Base on this, the narrations on this issue has proved that the people before the reappearance of the Imam didn't possess perfection in wisdom nor were they developed in thought. It was also understood from the narrations that the completion of the final stage of knowledge and cognition depends on the reappearance of the great Imam likewise the perfection of wisdom and development in the thought of the society also depend on the reappearance of that great man.
