PRECISION IN THE NARRATION

PRECISION IN THE NARRATION

It is worth mentioning that this type of narrations has been acclimated by some people with television and so on, of which by looking into the expression of the narration it couldn't in any case be said that what Imam al-Sadiq (Peace be upon him) meant in this narration is television; because:

1- Imam al-Sadiq (Peace be upon him) said: A believer will be seeing his brother, then if what is meant by Imam is television then everyone in the world must appear in the television so that they will be seen by their brothers in another part of the world. Because "Alif" and "Lam" in the word "Believer" i.e. "Al-Mu'min" is general and absolute, it comprised the entire believers whereas television is not fit for someone to envisage their brothers rather it is only those who are present in the scene or in the film can be seen.

Presently how many people out of seven billion (7,000,000,000) population[1]of the world has saw their brothers in the television?

Another point that worth to be observed in the narration which is a prove as an emphasis to this issue is that generality is deduced from it, that the believers shall see his brothers in another part of the world, which is real and absolute, because this narration :

a- Commence with nominal clause.

b- From the beginning of the sentences there is the word "Inna" (i.e. verily) in it.

c- "Layara Akhahu" Surely he will see his brother, the alphabet "Lam" in Arabic language is another proves of emphasis on the original issue which made the statement to be absolute.

By looking into these points during that luminous and splendid time, every believer shall see his brother from a very far distance likewise his brother shall see him and this is the issue which Imam al-Sadiq (Peace be upon him) has explained in this narration with some emphasis.

2- It is very clear in the narration that there is no any specialty in seeing ones brother meanwhile the holy Imam (Peace be upon him) has mentioned that as an example, if not during that time the believer will only envisage his brother rather they can also envisage their sisters, mother, daughter, wife and other relatives from any part of the world.

Is it necessary that the entire sisters must appear in the television program before believers can envisage them?!

3- The apparent meaning of the narration is that what is meant by seeing in the narration is both sides i.e. likewise a person in the east is seeing his brother from the west the one in the west will also envisage his brother in the east, i.e. both of them will be seeing each other, but in the television you can only watch and envisage those in the scene but those in the scene can't envisage those outside the scene.

What worth attention is that the holy Imam (Peace be upon him) has conditioned the increase in people's ability of seeing and hearing with the rising of the Allah's proof (May our souls be sacrifice for him) and he said: "Any time our riser rise ………" which was deduced that before the rise of the holy Imam the people's senses of seeing and hearing is not in that form.

Base on this, it is not possible to consider television as what is meant by the holy Imam, but very unfortunate that many writers collated the saying of Imam al-Sadiq (Peace be upon him) in this narration as television, because the outward meaning of the narration is that the honourable Imam is in position of expounding the features of the period of reappearance of the holy Imam.

4- In the speech if television is what is meant by the great man, then this shall not be a feature of the period of rising of the holy leader of the time (May our souls be sacrifice for him); because television has been invented before the rising of the holy Imam meanwhile during the dark period of occultation a lot of people are in darkness and obscurity.

5- Even though by looking into television, people sees some individuals from far distance worldwide but the ability of seeing and hearing with industrial appliances doesn't mean lengthening and strengthening the power of hearing and seeing.

6- In this narration, the specialty mentioned is restricted to the Shi'a because Imam al-Sadiq (Peace be upon him) said: "Almighty Allah shall strengthen for our followers" whereas benefiting from television is not restricted to the Shi'a only.

7- It is not only looking at television didn't increase the power of seeing rather looking at television has effect on our sight and has not create any increase to the power of our sight.

8- If what is meant in the narration is the outward meaning, then of what prove do we refer to such means as television?

Probably it is a well developed means other than television. Then if we probably said what is meant by the holy Imam (Peace be upon him) is something else other than television, of which prove do we refer to the speech of the holy Imam (Peace be upon him) to be television?!

9- An attractive point which exists in some narration is the transformation that was clearly stated which shall take place in the senses of hearing and seeing after the rising and reappearance of the holy Imam.

Base on this, any kind of means like television, computer, internet or any other means which exist before the reappearance of the holy Imam is being refuted and it is not inclusive to this narration.

This tremendous transformation which shall occur in humanbeing is constrained by Imam al-Sadiq (Peace be upon him) with after the rise and the reappearance of Allah's proof (May Almighty Allah hasten his relief) thus he said: "Verily when our riser rise ……." in this respect it is very clear that the tremendous transformation which shall occur in humanbeing shall be after the rise of that great man.

10- Another point worth of attraction is that Imam al-Sadiq (Peace be upon him) said: "Allah shall strengthen and increases the senses of hearing and seeing for our (Shi'a) followers …." If the transformation meant by Imam is outward means like television and computer, then there is no transformation and increase made in the senses of seeing and hearing.

Base on this, as the content of the narration is clearly understood, what is meant by Imam al-Sadiq (Peace be upon him) in his statement "Allah shall strengthen for our (Shi'a) followers" is transformation inside it and not outside it that necessitate it to be outward means and appliances.

11- Another attractive point that worth concentration is that Imam al-Sadiq (Peace be upon him) said: "Allah shall strengthen….." this transformation and changes is known to be Allah's duty and it is attributed to Him. That is after the rise of the holy leader of the time (May our souls be sacrifice for him), Almighty Allah shall create this transformation in humanbeing which is a prove of an unnatural and extra-ordinary changes and from all indication it is clear from the narration that invention of television or any other means are not attributed to Almighty Allah.

12- The honourable master of the time (May Almighty Allah hasten his relief) shall benefit from extra-ordinary and spiritual power in statesmanship and in organizing the peoples of the world, in this respect there shall be transformation for perfection of the world and its inhabitants. With this explanation it is very clear for the fresh thinkers among the world devourers who wanted the world to incline towards one political perspective. These minor thinkers (who are afflicted in one corner of the street) believed they can administer the seven continents of the world!!

13- Among the characteristics of the luminous period of reappearance of the holy Imam (May our souls be sacrifice for him) is lessening the limitation of place and time. It is very unfortunate that now this type of discussion has not been examined and it is surprising for our society. In this respect we can entitle such discussion as "The wonderfulness during the luminous period of reappearance of the holy Imam" and that time to be named as "wonderful time".

Possibly creation of transformation in terms of time and place during the period of reappearance and discussion on this respect to be new before us but by examining the narrations and the statements of the holy household of the holy Prophet (Peace be upon them) we can see that this discussion has been made. Base on this, not knowing this vital and important issue by the society doesn't mean this discussion has not been titled in the narration of the holy household of the holy Prophet (Peace be upon them).

The narration which we've quoted here is an example which Imam al-Sadiq (Peace be upon him) has explained how there will be break up of limitation of place and time during the period of reappearance of the holy Imam and has also explained that it will be an absolute and inevitable issue.

Human being's limitation to place and time throughout the history till this present time and their restriction to this two factors is an issue that needs to be discuss or explain and it is very clear before everyone that humanbeings are in the bondage of time and place, although there is a lot of efforts which was put forward in order to rescue people but the esteem break of limitation shall occur during the reappearance of the holy Imam.

The statement which was said by Imam al-Sadiq (Peace be upon him) …. He will surely see his brother in the west….. is a prove which shows the break of limitation of place; because in this narration the time of reappearance of the holy Imam (May our souls be sacrifice for him) has been explained that the believer from the eastern part of the world that time will certainly see his brother in the western part of the world.

This point shows that hundreds of thousand kilometer distance between two people including the long distance is a prove that they don't envisage each other, although with all this long and vast distance they will not be deprived from seeing each other.

This is the very prove which shows the break of limitation of place and with all this distance their conversation will be as if they are in one place. Shall all these developments be as a result of transformation which exists in humanbeing through the invention of developed machineries?

With perfection of the intellect an in order to attain science and awareness (upon the ability of hearing and seeing) the power that is above material power is another important means of acquiring science and awareness.

With these probabilities which we'ave quoted, possibly seeing and envisaging one another during the period of reappearance of the holy Imam from the eastern or the western part of the world shall be in another form which our thinking can't presently perceived.
