4- To be Obedience to the holy household of the Prophet

The holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) are expecting their friends to build themselves and to obtain behavior that is accepted by Almighty Allah more than any other one. According to the view of the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) those who have educated the love and friendship of the family of the holy Prophet deep inside his existence, must take the behavior of the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) as an exemplar for their life and they must increase their faith and God fearing.

His Excellency, the commander of the faithful (peace be upon him) said:  

Whoever like us should act as we do and should wear the cloth of faith”[1]

At anytime whereby you have manifested the love for the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) and it has rooted in your existence, it will be the cause of your faith and good deed.

Meanwhile complete love for the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) is always accompanied with good deed; and the person whose love is much normally struggle in doing good work.

In this respect Imam Rida (peace be upon him) said: Don’t leave good work and worship as a result of your love for the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) likewise you should not submit to their commandment while leaving worshipping because one of it is not accepted except with the other.[2]      

How is it possible for someone who is having intensive love and interest of the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) and his action is not accepted by them or he leave the accepted deed by them and be heedless of it? In a nutshell the real friend and true lover is he who follows and obey the beloved one.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

If your love is sincere, you will follow your beloved one; therefore the lover follows the one he loves”[3]

This type of love that is accompanied with following and obedience of the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) causes the happiness of those great men.

His Excellency, the commander of the faithful in this respect said: We are happy due to the love of our lovers for us”[4]

Definitely, those who wanted to reach high rank and aiming towards tremendous goal must know that whoever wants treasure must envisage difficulty and affliction. The person who is having the thought of obtaining tremendous positions must ready to do all the necessary things in the way to his destination in order to generate this thought.

His Excellency, the commander of the faithful (peace be upon him) said: Whoever likes an elevated rank abstain and distance from prohibited act”[5]      

It is reported from the hadith of Hadrat Da’ud (peace be upon him) that Almighty Allah said:

What My good servant need to do with significance to this world, verily significance to this world drives away the sweetness and the pleasure of calling upon Me from their heart. O’ Da’ud definitely My love from My good servant is for them to be sacred and not to be dejected.[6]

Base on this, the friends of Allah and that of the holy household (peace be upon them) should not be disturbed with the worldly affairs in his living because concentrating and worshipping the world and material aspirations are the tremendous means that distance human being from the threshold of Almighty Allah and seize their nearness and closeness to Allah and likewise it reduce Allah’s love and that of the holy household of the Prophet from him. Meanwhile having connection with spiritual issues and searching for the reality of the world makes person to be the lover of Almighty Allah and that of the holy household of the Prophet (peace be upon them).
